De F1 elite komt aan in Europa. Voor de eerste keer pakt teamgenoot Mark Webber Pole Position, Sebastian Vettel start van P2.

 

 

Vettel passeert teamgenoot Mark Webber in de eerste bocht, maar Fernando Alonso weet beide coureurs voorbij te gaan en aan kop te blijven rijden. Het is een spannende race waarbij Vettel Ferrari's Alonso weet te passeren, en Lewis Hamilton achter zich houdt en zo een briljante overwinning pakt.

Door de zware regenval in Canada gaat de GP van 2011 op het Circuit Gilles Villeneuve de boeken in als de langste F1 race in de geschiedenis (4 uur en 4 minuten). Maar deze race is zeker de moeite waard voor Sebastian, in de laatste ronde weet hij Jenson Button te passeren en pakt hij de overwinning.

De Britse GP, de thuisrace voor 90% van het Red Bull Racing Team. Sebastian finisht als tweede, maar zelfs dan laat hij een hoop coureurs achter zich. De voorsprong in de Ranking  van Sebastian Vettel op zijn teamgenoot Mark Webber na Silverstone is 80 punten.

Door de 1-2 in Spa voor Red Bull Racing zijn de vooruitzichten op een dubbele WK-Titel voor Sebastian ineens een stuk realistischer. Of, zou de GP van Italië roet in het eten gooien?

Sebastian is terug op de track waar hij zijn eerste overwinning pakte. Ook in 2011 wint hij en laat hij Fernando Alonso achter zich winnen. Een emotioneel, maar mooi moment voor Sebastian Vettel.
